Bare Escentuals Bisque is a very popular Bare Minerals Makeup product that has many uses. Bisque started out as an eye shadow, but users soon discovered that it made a great concelaer, because it is more opaque than foundation and it is close to skin tone in color. Over the years, Bare Escentuals has added more bisque shades to accomodate many different skin colors. There are currently five different shades of bisque.

Bisque can be used as an eye shadow, a concealer, an eye lid primer and eye shadow base. Because it has an SPF of 20, it is also great to use under the eyes as a concealer and for sun protection. It does a great job of covering skin imperfections such as brown or red spots, blemishes, broken capillaries, scars and dark circles. It is then easily covered by mineral makeup foundation to help you achieve a flawless look. It can also be used over foundation to conceal imperfections.

Bisque can also be used as a highlighter to lighten up areas under and around the eyes and nose. It can also be added to any other mineral makeup product to lighten it up and make it slightly more opaque. When using as a concealer, you will get the best coverage by using it with a synthetic concealer brush.

Shades of Bisque

Bisque is the original color. It is for light to medium complexions.	Summer Bisque is best for light-to-medium complexions with golden tones.	Honey Bisque is best for medium-to-tan complexions with golden tan skin tones.
Dark Bisque is best for deeper tan complexions.	Deep Bisque is best for the deepest dark complexions.

Bismuth Oxychloride, Mica, Iron Oxide. May Contain: Ultramarine Blue, Manganese Violet, and/or Titanium Dioxide
