Jane Iredale Amazing Base is the loose Mineral Makeup Foundation from Jane Iredale Cosmetics. It is an upscale foundation and the packaging is elegant and beautiful. It has many loyal users who appreciate the added skin care ingredients that nourish the skin while providing coverage.
It was one of the first mineral makeups and has always been sold primarily in doctors' offices and spas. It has an SPF of 20. This is one of the best mineral makeup for sensitive skin because it does not contain Bismuth and it also contains Plankton Extract and Algae Extract. These sea minerals are in place to protect and nourish the skin.
This is a very popular upscale mineral foundation. It is called "the skin care makeup" because of the additional ingredients. It is also a very water resistant foundation and through layering in thin layers provides very good coverage.
It comes in an elegant container with a gold lid and you can purchase refills at a significant savings over the price with the jar.
