Bare Minerals Foundation Review: Okay, But Disappointed it Doesn't Last

If you have pretty perfect skin and do not live in a hot state (i live in AZ) then this is good to add a glow because the mineral veil and other face colors work well. I used this product when i had moderate acne and thought it looked really good when i first applied it, but it faded within an hour and right as i started to VERY LIGHTLY sweat it stung my skin and was pretty uncomfortable. I gave it a second chance after my face cleared and was still disappointed at how fast it came off. This isnt the worst, but i give it a 6.5/10, the makeup is also very messy and it bothers me to think how much makeup I'm loosing.

Hi Shelly - The stinging is caused by Bismuth in Mineral Makeup. The mineral makeup I have found that stays on until you take it off is Mineral Hygienics & it is bismuth free. Suzanne

I am 47 years old and had been wanting to try bare minerals for years. I finally had an opportunity to sit down in the store and have a consultnat help me. I have to say that I LOVE this make up. It feel wonderful. It goes on clean and simple, I have coverage that looks natural and it stays on all day. I have always had very dark circles upder my eyes, and have tried multiple products to cover it, this has been the first time that a product has done this without appearing all caked up and thick. I am pleased. Very pleased. I recommend that you give it a try, at least the starter kit. I have yet to try the eye shadows and othe products, but plan too.
