Bare Minerals Matte Foundation Review: "just dont do it'
by Alixandra
I am 21 years old, with oily/combo skin and live in VA. So my weather conditions are super humid right now (summer 2010, global warming. what can you do?) with acne prone skin. The bare minerals matte goes on very chalky and cakey. So it sticks and cakes to the dry patches of skin (like over a pipmle or my dry nose), but then an hour later sinks into my skin. So shiny and slick looking with rando dry spots. AND the color of the foundation changes. The matte just in general looks more orange/red then the regular bare minerals line, but after an hour you're orange, AND THE SHADE I BUY IS LIGHT. Not medium, I get the fair or light and it still steaks and gets all spray tan orange on me. Not cute. It also made me break out. And im not saying I have perfect skin, I always have a little pimple here or there, but this caused me to get huge pimples that never formed a head just spots and hurt really bad. Its more expensive than the original BE line, as well as more disppointing. just dont do it.
