Bare Minerals Review: Disappointing

SOOO disappointing. I have nice skin...i didn't want anything too heavy. BUT this makeup doesn't even cover up minor skin spots...My sister bought it too, she has acne and she was super angry. She was embarrassed to leave the house...it didnt cover up AT ALL. It is too pricey to not change the look of your skin AT ALL. I am so disappointed and angry that we spent a combined 120 dollars on this makeup.

I am 38yrs old and I started using this makeup in January, let me just say ....it was so worth the money. My face always looked shiney and freckles everywhere, well with age we all know that our skin changes and I was using all diferent foundations to find that perfect one. Bare Minerals is light and it doesn't feel like it's caked on. I'm always baking and I have 5 kids, with this makeup even my husband noticed the difference (he barely notices anything_)So yeah I'm really happy with them, imagine.. my neighbor says that everytime I wear this makeup I look like I'm thirty so I recomend this to all the ladies who are tired of serching for a miracle.

Covering blemishes - secret is in the application

It only covers blemishes if you build up the coverage; don't go for the a load all at once but gradually build up with very small amounts. That way you get total coverage on the problem areas and a light natural coverage on the rest of your skin. I really think the success or failure of this type of makeup is with the application; it's not used like your usual foundation at all and that can take some getting used to and experimentation. Don't give up!!! When you put on the first layer you will think 'what? this doesn't do anything' but you'll start to see as you layer that coverage is building. Just do one side of your face first to see the change... ;) - that's a reassuring way of knowing that it is doing something for you. Good luck!
