I started using bareminerals about 3 months ago after watching an infomercial I decided to give it a try. I have fair skin with freckles and I have tried many kinds of make up. I pretty much thought that makeup just wasn't for me. I would put it on and 2 hours later I would look worse than I did before I put it on. It would cake up and look awful.
It only took one day to really fall in love with bareminerals, my complexion looked smooth and it wasn't cakey not only that, but it stayed on all day. I didn't have to re-apply. My face also cleared up, I hardly ever break out anymore. The occasional zit now and then, but nothing like what it used to be.
I had never gotten compliments on my make-up before using bareminerals, but now I get compliments all the time. I really feel like this will be the make-up I will use for the rest of my life. Krista Ultimate Weight Loss Guide
brushes have a lot to do with it too. what brush are you using? i tried the kabuki and the new full flawless face brush and didn't get the coverage i wanted and then i used the heavenly face brush (brown brush, flat head) and all of a sudden it was perfect.

This is regarding Puzzled's comment. All I can think is maybe you aren't using the right amount. You can apply a small amount and if that doesn't give you the coverage you need you can do more. I personally use alot. I swirl the brush in a bunch of powder tap a small amount of the excess off (not too much) then apply to one side of my face then do the same for the other side and the top then bottom. The coverage is great, my face tends to be red all the time, but bareminerals keeps it a nice tan shade everywhere. If you still have the make-up lying around the house I would give it another try. Take some time and experiment with home much you use and how you apply it. Don't be shy, the more you use the more coverage, and it doesn't get cakey or feel heavy like other make-ups

I have tried this twice, because the people I see with it on have glowing skin. It just doesn't seem to give ME enough coverage. Should I try again, or a different brand?
