Love, love, love this foundation. I recently came across the Illuminare' site after not being totally pleased with my usual liquid foundation. It didn't last on me. After a couple of hours, it seemed to get oily and rub off to the touch. I decided to give Illuminare' a try since it was a liquid foundation and a mineral foundation all in one. I have always wanted to try a mineral foundation but didn't like the thought of brushing it on like a powder. After getting the sample pack, I fell in love with it. I use the Ultimate All Day on my forhead where I normally get oily spots and Extra coverage on the rest of my face. I do not need to go and purchase an additional powder to place on the top to get it to stay. It looks fresh all day long and it doesn't melt off like my other foundations did. The coverage is wonderful! I didn't think that using a small amount (1 - 2 pea size amount) on the face would cover and stay like it does. It honestly does! I like the way it makes my face feel. It doesn't feel like I have caked the makeup on. My face can breath and it looks so radiant and beautiful! I also like the fact that it has such a high sunscreen factor! I would recommend this foundation to anyone! A small amount goes a long way so the tubes should last a while. The fast application pad doesn't waste the product and smoothes the foundation out quickly for a flawless look.

Will never go back!!

Bought the samples to see which formula works best for me. I have VERY oily skin. I've been using Mary Kay mineral makeup with the Avon makeup primer but, by 11:00 in the morning I'm very shiny and get that cakey makeup look that never goes away even with blotting and reapplying the powder throughout the day. I'm 43 years old and have tried MANY different mineral powders and liquid makeup brands. It's been very frustrating. After reading the reviews for the Ultimate all day foundation and seeing that I could buy samples of all formulas and colors for $10 I thought why not. Well, I am soooo happy that I did. I've just used the Ultimate all day samples, mixed two of the colors to match my skin perfectly and those samples lasted me THREE weeks!! I still use my Avon primer as you need something underneath because it makes it easier to smooth on. It doesn't spread as well when I apply it alone. I have only had to blot once or twice throughout a nine hour day and not once have I had to reapply. When I blot it looks like I have just applied it. This stuff is truly amazing and I will never use anything thing else again!! Because you use such a little amount the cost is actually cheaper in the long run. So you acne prone oily skined women out there, go for it!!

I too LOVE Illuminare Liquid Makeup

I have been using this makeup for over two years now and truly, I have recommended it to all of my friends. If you want a makeup that lasts, this is it. It covers completely, goes on easy (after a moisturizer which makes it go on easy -- a water-based one is the best) and looks so pretty. If I need one that has a truly matte look, it would be the Ultimate All-Day. If I want a slightly more dewy look, I use the Extra Coverage one. In the summer it is great cause it does not sweat off, and you can even swim in it and it stays. Amazing! And it is so darn good for your skin, how could you miss! And the other amazing thing is that you only have to use a baby pea sized dollop for your WHOLE face! Skin Store is where I got mine and their price is not high. This is a winner in every respect! And not as messy as the powder type mineral makeup which actually are great for a lighter coverage. And I am in my 60s, have great skin (thanks to my mom's genes) and people really cannot believe how great this stuff looks on!
