Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Mineral Makeup Review - "My skin has never looked better!"

I started using mineral makeup in my 30's with Bare Escentual cosmetics. As I got closer to 40 I noticed that it was enhancing my wrinkles so I switched to Halo by Smashbox. Decent, but color didn't match and it looked unnatural in certain lighting. I then tried Pur - really made my skin look fake, then Mineral Hygenics. Too thick and looked caked on. I found Jane Iredale just last month and WOW!

I have oily skin and scarring from acne. I am now 41 so I need something with more moisture. The Pure Pressed Base is so amazing, I was shocked after my makeover!

It stays on all day and really helps with the oil without drying out my skin. The color is undetectable and I look like I am not wearing makeup at all.

I use her primer as a base, then apply the pressed powder. (I have also tried primers from Roc and Smashbox and hers is still the best)

For blemish coverage - because I still get breakouts - I found a use for the Mineral Hygenics as a spot concealer for those really red ones. It works very well with the Pressed Base but is more opaque in coverage.

I am in love with this makeup - my skin has never looked better!
