My skin began to change as I approached menopause in my mid-forties and the products I had used no longer were flattering to my complexion. I was reluctant to try this "new" concept in makeup, but gave it a try. At first I did not like the results, but as I became more adept with the brushes and application of the products, I came to love the au naturel look. Now at 51 years old, people are always complimenting me on my complexion. I have never liked feeling or looking overly made-up, but wanted to tone down redness and even out my skin tone. With Bare Escentuals that is never an issue; I look like me, only better!
