Mary Kay Mineral Makeup Ivory 2 Review

I have been using Mary Kay Mineral Makeup for 1 month now and I love it~I am 38 years old and even though I have a smooth complexion (small pores), I have often struggled with break outs. Ever since I have been using this foundation, my face has been clear. I love the coverage and the weightlessness of this product. My husband and I were recently caught in a rainstorm, most makeups would've looked terrible after running in the rain, but not this makeup. I wish I would've tried a mineral foundation sooner, but I am happy to have it now and will stick with Mary Kay. (It does not contain spf so I use a Mary Kay moisturizer with spf underneath). I have combination oily/dry skin but this foundation has held it's own when I get oily. I am eager to see what happens when summer comes and the humidity rises, but I believe this makeup will hold it's own even then.

I love Mary Kay's mineral makeup!! This is definately a thumbs up for me! I have used Bare Escentuals and Sheer Cover but Mary Kay's product works best for me. These are the reasons I absolutely love it:

Skin Type: Very Oily, a few Acne scars, uneven skin tone

So as you can imagine, I don't have the best complexion..by far.

Coverage is great, you must apply thin layers at a time but after about 3 thin layers, the coverage was perfect for me. It makes your pores appear flawless, skin looks so smooth. Totally evens out my complexion.

I didn't stick with Bare Escentuals because it made my skin itchy and because it makes my pores seem HUGE.

I didn't stick with Sheer Cover because it was too little product for the price. Otherwise coverage was good.

This is my personal experience that I thought I would share with all of you.
