Mary Kay Mineral Makeup Review

I bought MK mineral makeup and I really liked it! I am 19 years old, and I have never used any type of concealers or foundations, so I can't say this is a review of an experienced person or a professional makeup artist. All I know is that I LOVE the way it makes my skin look, and it easily applies (after you get the hang of it. On the MK website there are step by step instructions). It gave me a big boost of confidence! It looks very natural and my husband loves it!! We were both worried it would make me look fake, and that I would have that overdone look but I don't.

I have a combination of dry and oily skin, it helps the dry skin look smooth, and my skin doesn't look oily at all! It last the whole day! My skin feels and looks fresh. It does rub off a little, but I think I just need to get the right moisturizer so it can hold on to my skin better. The brush works great and it doesn't lose any of the bristles easily.

The only thing that worries me is the ingredients list. From other mineral blogs, they say talc and cornstarch are incredibly horrendous for the skin. MK mineral foundation has Talc leading the ingredients list. They also talk about how talc can cause cancer?

Besides those 2 downsides to MK mineral Foundation, I really like the product. If it was possible for MK to change this issue, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars. I give it 4/5.
