Questions About Pores and Lines and Mineral Makeup

Hi I have previously tried BE mineral makeup. I ordered via qvc because I wanted to be able to try before I commit. I sent it back for me I have some small open pores around my nose and at the same time some dry skin on my cheeks. I felt the powder didn't have the same comfort feeling of a cream eg it didn't hydrate and I actually felt it looked a bit flat and hightlighted my fine lines or pores.

I am perplexed that some people have such fantastic reviews with this product and yet I felt so different about it.

I also tried philosophy product with the puff applicator by couldn't get on with the applicator so sent that back as well !

I am tempted to try another brand and perhaps try and stick at it for a bit longer. I suspect I might be not giving it enough of a chance to get used to.

Overall I would like to gain the benefits of mineral powder but wonder whether for some skins it isn't a good option.

Any thoughts?
