Review: Bare Minerals Foundation - Not for Me

After using it for a few months, I can say that it's not for me. The product does give a breathable, light feel, however, it makes my skin look way too dry and ashy. It doesn't cover all my problem areas either. It also makes my face feel itchy. I've also been breaking out, though I'm not sure if it's the product that's to blame.

Not for acne coverage

I used bare minerals and kept breaking out so bad, i tried all kinds of different cleansers and nothign took it away. the more product i covered the acne with the more i broke out and now i have scarring from the acne. As soon as I stopped usng bare minerals, my face cleared up.
Dont use it, its not worth the money to have an acne covered face. Try Neutrogena skin clearing powder, Amazing

You're not alone

I have oily skin prone to breakouts. I had to use so much product to cover my acne and scars that I just looked like a big ball of powder. What's worse was that all my oil showed through after only three or so hours of wear, even MORE oily and gross-looking than with non-mineral makeup OR nothing on at all. It also made my face itch, especially when I sweated in it, which I often did. I stopped using it because I started breaking out really badly.
